I have been searching for a house for my Mom and when I saw this house it felt like the right one for her, it is a house that shows character, and is very inviting. What I need to know is my Mom is on a fixed income example Old Age Pension, CPP, and I myself I have been just recently told by my husband of 42 years that he wants a divorce and his reason is he has grown tired of me and wants me to move out. I would really like to stay near my Mom she is going on 85 years old, but very, very independent. To be very honest with you and the owner we cannot afford much, do you think that the owner would allow us to Rent to Own that way he will not loose out if we cannot make the payment he/she has the right to take back their house. Would you please ask my name is Karen (Mortimer) Holman, and my Mother's name is Pauline Mortimer, she has gone through alot this year she was pulled out of a house I had bought for her when I won some money back in July 1993, but unfortunately she ended up living next to neighbours all around her who say if you do not fit on their street they will drive you out and that is what they did, I have been looking through so many listings I am boggled eyed but when I saw this house it gave me a warm feeling and I know my Mom would fall in love with it. As soon as I get the house on Merrett Drive cleaned up and sold I will be able to put down a large sum of money. Would you please see what you are able to do this would be my Mom's last house that she would live in and I will take care of her but I cannot let her know I am doing that because she will give me heck. My Mom's name is Pauline and you would never know she is going on 85 years old she is on the everyday things going on in the world and around here. She does things for herself. I am 57 years old and I am the same as my Mom independent, but right now I am a bit shocked that my husband does not want me anymore I guess I did far to much for him and I am not one for arguments, I seen enough of that when my Father was alive. Would you see what we can do to own this house. It is like a dream come true.
